Power Supply Part
eMachine and power supply part 2?
OMG! My computer would not start after I lost elec during storm. Pushed power button and NOTHING. Was told to get new power supply. I did my best to use the same plug in as I took out and the power supply comes on BUT NO WINDOWS XP. Nothing else comes on!!!! Just the new power supply. I guess I have to take it to the computer repair shop or what? Does kicking help? j/k

Check all the other components. Maybe you loosened the power connector to the hard drive or the mother board while installing the new PS. Make sure all the power connectors and other connectors are tight. Do this with the computer unplugged, then plug it in and try powering up.

I am missing part of my power supply for my Xbox 360.. can I just buy an extension cord to replace?
I still have the part with the "brick"... Can I just get like a 3-6 ft extension cord with a 3 prong outlet? it seems like it would work, I don't want to have to buy the whole power supply since I already have part of it. Let me know if this is possible.
Any regular computer power cord will work fine.
