Basement Floor vinyl sheet?
I have concluded that with a concrete basement floor of musk, is the best flat vinyl sheet. My question is, with as much as 600 feet square, how you cut it? How to cut and sew, where to put it seems. We have a bathroom downstairs, hallway, bedroom and recreation room. Can you put the strips down (as if laminate) on the verge of creating a more cutting pattern shaped box for each room, or if I have to take in itself seems floors? How do you think, not huddle in time? Do you have better suggestions for a basement floor (heat only gets is ducts in the ceiling), we have a dehumidifier from today. I worry about the carpet receive musky flooring with moisture warp or buckle if uneven and contract vinyl tiles with winter and concrete stain is out of the question to cost. My husband is a carpenter, he says he believes seams, but I wanted hear what others thought.
If seal with asphalt concrete (special formula specifically air dry for this), you can install any soil you want ... the concrete is laid flat. Laminate floating floors do not usually work well in basements, because the soil tends to rise near the edges. Wood needs a flat substrate. vinyl tiles easily established, but known to curl up in corners over time. Carpet will have no problem as long as the soil (And all exposed basis) is covered with concrete sealer asplalt. The carpet also will keep you warmer in the winter.
